10/23/15 My family's favorite restaurant in pulaski! The
staff is absolutely wonderful, and accommodating to my two young children. The food is perfect every time. There are always
new and exciting entrees to enjoy. -
via Facebook Reviews_8/2/15We stopped for lunch while travelling between Kingston, Ontario and Skaneateles, New York. We were
pleasantly surprised to find this excellent restaurant on a historic site. The interior is clean with a relaxed atmosphere,
and there is an outdoor patio area. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The menu offers a nice selection of food and
drink and our food was very good. - via Trip Advisor _5/31/15We found ourselves in Pulaski last week unexpectedly for
a funeral, and after the visitation, need a little pick me up. Our friends recommended The River House, and it turned out
to be perfect. It was very quiet for 7PM on a Thursday, and we could have sat closer to the bar for a more communal, casual
experience, but we offered a secluded table in the back of the restaurant, which was very nicely decorated and much fancier
than the bar area. The peace and quiet suited our moods, and we enjoyed being only table in the entire back area (restaurants
are so horribly noisy these days).
We started out with some creative
cocktails, which were delicious. The menu was one of those rare ones where I had a really challenging time deciding what I
wanted, and that's rare for me because I'm a bit picky. I was overly tempted by the appetizers, so I ended up getting the
fried cheese curds (never had them before and wasn't that impressed), the French Onion soup (great), and a pear walnut goat
cheese bacon (yea bacon!) salad with chicken as my main course, which was so good I took half back to my hotel. My husband
got a delicious pork chop and bacon (go Bacon Thursday!) dish that he gave me a few coveted bites of. Delicious.
When main courses are that good (and utterly terrible for you), you know desserts
and going to be sinful. My husband got a slice of pie and I got chocolate banana cream pie. It was surprisingly light, which
was perfect on top of a heavy meal.
The waitress was perfectly lovely
and the service was good.
I have found in my travels that you find really good food in the strangest places in unexpected
times. Fromm what I can tell, most people come to Pulaski to fish. We were there for a funeral. Finding a pleasant place for
dinner was an unexpected, and welcome, surprise. - via Trip Advisor_ 12/8/14We took a large group (about 18 people) there for lunch on a Saturday. We had great service, good food, and a pleasant
atmosphere. It is one of the few places that you can take a group in Pulaski. The menu was quite suitable for several of our
group on gluten-free diets: there were several good choices on the lunch menu. I have not had dinner there, but the dinner
menu also seemed to be GF-friendly. - via Trip Advisor _9/9/14 My favorite place to dine! I Love the steak & bleu salad & all of the soups. We've been going there for a few
years now & I've never been disappointed! - via Facebook Reviews _6/18/14 We were passing through and needed a place for dinner and came across this one. Omg
the food was so good. From the amazing dinner salad to the tasty steak and delicious sides. Was too full for dessert though.
Wish we lived closer so I could go there all the time! A+ - via Facebook Reviews_10/26/13If you are looking for a step up from fast food, pizza, or a chain restaurant in Pulaski, try the
River House. We had steak, pasta, salads, dessert, drinks.. and it was all good, and reasonably priced.. and our waitress
was very pleasant and attentive. Would definitely eat there again next time I am in town. - via Trip Advisor _7/8/2013River House has a nice variety of food and beverage.
Went there with my wife and parents, we all ordered something different and all enjoyed our meals. Service is friendly and
efficient. The place is clean and decorated nicely. I would highly recommend to anyone in upstate New York. - via Trip Advisor _6/2/2013I have been to this restaurant with my wife a
couple of times. The menu is more creative than you would expect, the service has been good and the food very good. If you
are looking for a casual or better atmosphere with very good food I would suggest the River House. On holidays be sure you
make a reservation. - via Trip Advisor _ 12/4/12We
used the RiverHouse for our wedding this past July and couldn't be happier with the exceptional food and service we received.
All of our guests raved about how wonderful the food was; especially the sirloin! Thanks for making our special day
perfect!- Beth Buongiorne _ 11/6/12When we got engaged The RiverHouse was such an obvious choice for our rehearsal
dinner! We were so excited to bring our closest friends and family together to celebrate at such a great place - and
to show support to a local business! The experience was above and beyond our expectations. Frank, the owner, was
so accomodating with everything; he met us at our convenience, was so helpful in choosing our menu, and was there during the
dinner making sure we were happy. The night came and went flawlessly! Everything was ready when we got there,
the servers (Tami and Shansi) were SO nice, the food was OUTSTANDING and fast (especially considering our party of about 30
people) - not a single complaint from any of our guests! After our dinner we had a ton of people meet us there for dinks
and we packed their tavern for the rest of the night---the bartenders were great and everyone had an awesome time! It's
a night we will never forget and we highly recommend other couples to do the same!- Chad and Kayla
Farmer_ 11/1/12Frank and Staff, Thank you so much for a beautiful Wedding Reception! You all are so wonderful.

Can't wait to come back and have another Pini Bikini!! - RHR Website Review _12/28/11
My husband and I have eaten here three nights in a row and you have hit a home run every time. We had and loved! If RiverHouse Restaurant were in our hometown, I would give up cooking and eat here every night! Thanks for cooking such delicious food for us to enjoy during our visit to Pulaski. The RiverHouse is definitely a place that I will
be returning to! I ordered "Lindsey's Riggies" and it was fantastic! It is available in mild, medium or hot, I chose
medium and it had quite a bite and was perfectly delicious! My friend ordered Veal Parmesan and he was thrilled with the flavor.
The service was top notch and our waitress was very attentive. While we were finishing our dinner the power went out on the
entire street and the manager gave us dessert on the house. It turned out to be a very memorable evening! -via Yahoo! Reviews I can't get enough of RiverHouse. Delicious apps,
wide variety of dinners, and fabulous homemade desserts (chocolate seduction pie) fill my tummy with pleasure. Chicken lovers,
try the Tuscan chicken. It will not disappoint and the specials including lasagna are to die for. Also the decor is warm and
inviting and my server, Val was a doll. -via Urbanspoon
